The “Aloha” design - well, it means goodbye and hello, and I’d prefer we use the former usage. The window treatment alone was deserving of a caning.

“Avisco Rayon’ was used in these coverlets. The term - I think - comes from “American Viscose Division,” part of the FMC Corporation. I think. Says their website: "FMC Corporation is a manufacturer of insecticides, termiticides, lithium, alginates, carrageenan, microcrystalline cellulose, alkali chemicals, soda ash, hydrogen peroxide” and so on. Wikipedia:

Founded in 1883 as the Bean Spray Pump Company in Los Gatos, California by John Bean. The company's first product was a piston pump. Bean invented the pump to spray insecticide on the many fruit orchards in the area.

It became the Food Machinery Corporation in 1928, and now makes lots of things. For a while they made trucks.

Trucks, and rayon for bedspreads.
