Not everything went high-tech Noel-Coward shiny-round modern, but this is less ornate than its predecessors. The damned thing had everything, including a coin tray - and something modern cupboards lack: a 50-lb. flour bin. People just don’t bake that much. Correction: people no longer bake everything.
