Floor-o-leum! Behold the color and patterns of the era. The fake-colored-stone ones on the middle left are rather wild; the pattern third from the bottom is probably the most modern of the batch. Back then you were supposed to put this stuff everywhere, and they did - decades later the old houses and apartment buildings would be full of cracked, worn, peeling, faded linoleum, and people began to regard wood as attractive in its own right.
That lasted a week or so, and then they put shag everywhere. |
