Cannon Square with the Hudson Hotel. The monument honors the county residents who served; the hotel still has the same sign.

The hotel hails from 1931, which is something of a surprise. Perhaps they drew up the plans in the late 20s and took a few years to get the money.

It's senior housing now, of course.
