Oh my God
McCollum:
A site on vacant downtowns of the South says:
This iconic commercial structure is located in the derelict historic district just west of Georgia Highway 41. Dr. William W. McCollum was a prominent dentist in Cordele. It represents a style common at the turn of the last century; many structures featuring these whimsical turrets survive, but the turret is often absent after renovation. The ornamental doorway is also a valuable aspect of the design.
If they can't bring that back, nothing's coming back.

A beautiful renovation from the optimistic days . . .
But it’s all this. It’s all this.
