There's still a Holiday Inn in Appleton. I don't know if it's the same one. It's as if there was a great shuddering in the franchise in the early 80s, and motels swapped affiliations.
The glass case under the register is full of cigars. That would surprise people these days. They're - they're just out in the open! Shouldn't they be locked away with the guns and cold medicine? |
