VILLA RESTAURANT, Amarillo TX

This ought to look vaguely familiar. At least the script should look familar. That's right! It's the Holiday Inn script. The Villa was attached to a Holiday Inn in Amarillo, and served the "finest in Mexican food."

It seems bigger and cooler than it probably was, but the bricks and the windows make it look like a suburban rambler. It's also one of the few examines of the Holiday Inn typeface used for words other than Holday and Inn, I think. They slant back as if leaning into a comfortable front seat of a convertible, racing down the American road at 85 MPH.
