Something about the sign says it should be affixed to a Holiday Inn. It has that frank, stripped-down modernism that coincidentally happened to be cheaper to make. No decorative gee-gaws, just modern efficient forms. And I like it! I am interested in that thing by the door - a display, perhaps showing products you could buy and take home. Can't imagine what else it would be.
