The Bel-Air in Deming had “refrigerated air,” which is much more accurate than “Air conditioning.” You can understand why the term didn’t catch on, though; it makes it sound as though you’re in a meat locker, with ice crystals on your skin. I'm takin' a hot shower, but I can see my breath; somethin' ain't right.
