A website created on its behalf out of sheer altruism says:

Built on the site of a 17th century battery, El Palomino Motel at nearby the city center is proud to be part of the quaint shops and stunning restaurants that compose the revitalized downtown Way.

I suspect you will find that copy on a number of motel sites whose owners are unaware there's a wharf outside the main office.
