The back of the card says “northeast corner of Midway Airport,” and they’re not kidding; like the Midway, the runway was literally across the street, as you can see from the Space View. The copy also insists that the Caff was “the largest Motel in Chicago,” which may have been true – certainly doesn’t look like it, though. Unless that row of rooms went on for six miles.

My Northwest flight was 3/4 hour late leaving Wold Chamberlain so I missed all Chi-Miami flights and had to stay here last nite. Dad.
