“Formerly the Town and Country.” Hmm. Perhaps The Olsons anticipated they’d have this place forever; otherwise, you wouldn’t get rid of a fine old name and replace it with a rather specific family name. Imagine if you wanted to buy the place, and your name was Olsen. You’d consider changing that second vowel, but then again, what the heck. But then you could never correct anyone’s spelling of your last name, because they’d just give you a strange look.
Perhaps the previous owners were Mr. Albert Town and his wife, Country Town.
