This is precisely the sort of future I wanted to live in. Domed cities on other planets. Not a collection of low huts linked by tunnels, but skyscrapers on the moon.

Unfortunately, this isn't an example of modern man conquering space. This is an outpost by humans who colonized the Moon thousands of years ago, and now live on the dark side. Why or how, this review doesn't say. But it ends up with a gas-station owner on trial, on the Moon, attempting to convince the Lunarians not to blow up any craft NASA or the Rooskies send up.

Apparently in the far-flung future, it's still Us vs. the Reds. And these guys were supposed to be the ones with imaginations.
