I don't have any proof, but my keen eye tells me they added four floors a while after it was finished. I know, I know, I'm going out on a limb here. But after a few years you get to know these things.

Shorpy says it was built in 1910, but the hotel's site says 1912. The usual trajectory. Ended up as an "Adult Center" for decades, which sounds like a rehab facility, but now it's a hotel again, restored to its original splendor.
