Beautiful illustration from the 30s, when sales weren't exactly robust. The condensation on that pitcher is particularly skillful. It seems to suggest there's not really a lot you can do, recipe-wise, but I doubt anyone bought a fridge so they could try different recipes.They were either sick of the old ice box, or it wsa broken beyond repair.
