Well, this just makes no sense. None at all. We get the idea - Johnny and Sue are going to use Reed's elastic body to slingshot Ben through the steel wall. But explain, please, how everyone got into this position? Does this image represent the half-second interval between the time Ben took his feet off the floor, and the time he began to accelerate forward? I had to read the damn book to see if this scene is described, and here it is:

"He stretched his right arm and leg towards Johnny and said 'hold tight!' Then he stretched his left arm and leg towards Sue and issued the same order."

I can visualize the first sentence. But the second sentence makes no sense. He would have fallen flat on his elastic ass.

We haven't even read page one, and the book has no credibility.
