Famous designers indeed. Paul McCobb was an Army vet who did more than furniture; he did radios and TVs for CBS-Columbia and Bell & Howell.

George Mulhauser worked for the George Nelson design firm, and the wikipedia entry notes that he designed “the coconut chair.” The sorta-modified almost / not quite Eames chair is interesting, but the legs are odd and the wires that brace them seem unnecessary. I’d still give a small toe to own one.
