Mr. Sperry and Mr. Hutchinson had a great idea, and for decades it gave an extra lift to shopping. As your stamp-book thickened, you dreamed of the things for which they would be exchanged.

Unless you decided to shop elsewhere for a few weeks because they had some sales, and the other store was a Gold Bond store. Then you had to start collecting Gold Bond too.

This book is almost completely empty, which provides an opportunity to examine the art inside. Who did it? We'll probably never know.
