The following is a compendium of house plans for people who wanted a place of their own - with small stories about what might have happened in these places. I grew up in one of these homes, albeit an earlier 1962 version. So did all my friends. We never understood what they meant to our parents, how the lawn and the appliances and the modern touches contrasted with what they'd known as kids. But what kid does?

There are 43 Capp homes in the catalogue, and I'll roll out two per week through the first quarter of 2017. Hope you enjoy the tour.
