"Fulton was present in a performance of the play when Harry K. Thaw murdered architect Stanford White over the affections of Evelyn Nesbit. She wrote and acted in the 1917 play The Brat, her greatest personal success, which was later made into a 1919 silent picture starring Alla Nazimova and then remade as an early talkie in in 1930.
