This night view was probably intended to highlight the upgrades. It has a modern look, but look at the bones of the place: old. Twenties or before. They added the brick pillars, leaning into the wind of the future, and the pipes lifted from a rocket gantry.
The owner was Byrl Blount, who died in 2001. He had one son, who died in a plane crash in 1955. His wife, according to the internet, was Mattie Peal Collier Griffith Blount, and you have to wonder whether the parents of someone with so many names though she was marrying beneath herself when she wed a hash-man.
But I'm just guessing.
