You read that correctly: Las Vegas, New Mexico. The name doesn't really say "Sin City," which might explain why they added the "Flamingo" room.
Can't say the years have been unkind, but apart from demolition there's not much the years could do. That spear sign has a certain "roadside" charm, if you're a student of sign trends. Classic Texaco in the back. Except for few modernistic one-offs in Califorinia, no one's come up with a better gas station style. |
