This is impossible. The Capitol Records building is across the street and up the block. Someone did a little cut-and-pasting, I think. t least we get to see a night view, including the blue-and-white stars on the side. Were those a Hody touch?
It would seem so. The view on the left, snipped from this page on LA History (and originally from the California State Library, Home of the Tiny Scans) shows the 1947 view, after the Melody Lane had decamped.
