No. A new style always comes around. The area once occupiedy by the Nelva restaurant - and the motel with the same name - is now favored by car dealerships. And that means Branding Signage.
The big sign with the stridin' waiter must have preceeded the left side of the building by twenty years, at least. It would have made sense to modern eyes, and given them pleasure. The four colored blobs on the top of the sign on the left, less so.
Not that it mattered, of course: TRAVEL TUBS.
