This photo may have been taken only 15 years after the previous picture, but it seems like another world. Modern! Bustling! Streamlined! It’s from 1937, I believe - there’s a similar shot in the MHS archives, taken before or after this one. (I have it framed on my wall.)

Note the fourth-floor office for “U.C.T.” - it’s in the previous shot as well. What was it? I typed U.C.T. into google, added “fraternal” on a whim, and hello: United Commercial Travelers of America, a Fraternal benefit organization.
