Backside view at Christmas time. It’s undated, but it could be the late 30s or early 40s. You’ll note they didn’t extend the decorative brick around the sides or the back. Why bother?

The Richman Brothers building gave me a surprise when I saw this picture – it’s quite modern. These narrow-lot small-scale buildings once populated downtown by the dozens, but were lost one by one to age, disuse, and changing economics. There’s a skyscraper on the corner now.
