The motel's current description grapples with the eternal difficulties involved in presenting the attributes in a new or interesting fashion:

"Featuring sitting areas, the down-to-earth rooms and suites come with complimentary WiFi, flat-screen TVs and desks, as well as tea and coffeemakes."

Didn't matter what they said after "down to earth," because no one knew quite what that might mean. Comfy? Homey? Shabby?

The pool is still there, which means it's a reputable place. When motels head down the slope they fill in the pool because drunks and druggies tumble in and drown and then there's cops. Who needs the aggravation.
