An odd style and an odd location. It appears to be the same structure, with different windows, a coat of paint and an unconvincing cornice to make it "neighborly."

John Goss was the owner; Ruth Claiborne was the "resident hostess."

Not many motels advertise for such a thing anymore.

Note the sign: the opposite of VACANCY is "standing room only." I have no ide what that means in the context of a motel, unless it meant you had to sleep in the lobby or lean against the wall in the phone booth.
