When this site went up years ago, I wrote: "The Four Acre of Kansas City. Still around, although it seems to have lost the pool. It’s doubtful the signage remains – stuff like this fell fast during the Great Era of Encrapment, when the cool old neon was stripped for shingled mansard roofs."
Good thing: I was wrong.
The Kopper Kettle, however, is now "Merchadise World," and a general feeling of slovenly failure rolls from the place. Move left and zoom in. Sigh.
