I SAID THE CONTROL TOWER IS VISIBLE IN THE BACKGROUND.

The motel was right by the airport; you could spit from your room and hit the terminal, almost., so I image the din was enormous. It was engulfed long ago by the airport's expansions, and the the tower on the right has been gone for decades.
