Linking 13 great states with the nation. The nation they are already part of, and thus linked politically and culturally. I used to take the Capitol Limited frequently. Nice route. Slow. Bumpy. Eventually depressing. Wouldn’t care to do it again, but there is something nice about taking a mode of transportation whose route has a name.
