I think this is back in the restaurant section as well. The spine says Pick-Nicollet, distinguishing it from the days when the Nicollet stood alone without chain affiliation. Eventually Pick would shrivel, but locals called it the Pick Nicollet for reasons.
The Waikiki Room was known for meatballs in BBQ sauce - how tiki! An interior shot can be found here.
The Miller, of course, is a reference to the enormous grain mills just a few blocks away. How Jolly the workers were I don't know, but I'm pretty sure they didn't wear top hats to work.
