It was once a smallish, or medium-smallish chain in the Twin Cities, best known for its last branch in Dinkytown. It had a lunch counter, and supposedly Bob Dylan went there, which makes it holy or something.
I had my first cherry coke at the lunch counter. Later they took it out for merchandise, which made sense with McDonald’s and Burger King moving into the neighborhood, but it was still a loss.
