This was a local beer, made right in West Bend Wisconsin.

I don’t know why you’d want the beer of old timers, unless you believed they had some rarified tastes. Even if they did, it would have dulled over the ages. So if people liked Old Timers, it’s because it was vaguely like a beer that had gone out of style.
