Davy Jones' was in the Downtowner Motel in Minneapolis, a nondescript product of the Leibenberg and Kaplan firm. I can't find much about Davey Jones' Locker, except that Thelonious Monk played a few gigs there, and was named in a lawsuit about liquor-seller liability. It was folded into the Leamington towards the end, and then became a flophouse. Demolished now and missed by no one.
In case you can't tell, the front of the book has a porthole.
