DEATH COMES TO ALL MEN

The legend of the Shiny Wagon was something muttered by servicemen in the great conflict of the 40s. They said if you saw it pull up, you were dead. We don't know if this work was an attempt to memorialize the belief with a certain amount of palliative sentiment, or whether it's meant to debunk it. Surely no one believed in the Shiny Wagon. If you were dead when it showed up, how would you be able to tell anyone about it?
