The words on the back of the work are dfficult to make out, but the labs have identified "GOD" and "ART" among them, indicating that the series was indeed a devotional exercise.

Read backwards, this work is particularly chilling: Left-side pre-beverage ARTGOD is disgusted by humanity; in the middle, ARTGOD views mortals with an unnerving sense of dispassionate evaluation.

His final transformation, seen in light of the first two incarnations, is anything but reassuring. In fact it seems to take delight in the miseries it knows it will soon inflict.
