Actually, it’s the Univac 1206, developed at Remington-Rand Univac Military Munitions in St. Paul, MN. Says the 1962 cutline: “The 1206 will assist radar stations along the 5,000 mile Atlantic missile range an around the globe in “locking on” and tracking space-borne vehicles. The mechanism, which feature a “real time” data handling system (without loss in transmitting computations) have been installed at Canaveral and Ascencion Island in the Atlantic ocean."
