Another TV show comic, but it’s from the other side of the Great Schism. On the far side was the previous cover - tough crime-fighting free-lance writers in suits in Hawaii; on this side, Relevant Programming that Connects with Today’s Youth. The subjects are ripped from today’s headlines as well: a MAD BOMBER threatens Room 222, and presumably 221 and 223 as well.
Who is he? Probably not anyone on the cover. Not Michael Constantine, who was born to play mid-level urban bureaucrats; not Denise Nicholas, who probably played the obligatory social worker; not Lloyd Hayes, the idealistic but still street-savvy teacher, and certainly not Karen Valentine - who, to judge from the picture, attended class with a nylon stocking stretched over her face.
