Great Scott! It’s always an ancient curse, isn’t it? No one is ever affected by a curse from four years ago. It’s always some curse laid down thousands of years ago, a supernatural boobytrap that works perfectly fine when activated. As if ghosts or demons or monsters are always creatures of their word, and will spring into action to comply with curse parameters. Why? What happens if they don’t? They get decertified by the ISO 9000 Curse Review Board?

I suspect the artist wasn’t happy with the monster. The mouth is all wrong. On the other hand, Elsa’s looking good, right down to the scarf around her neck. Apparently the ability to choose chic accessories is not adversely impacted by curses.  I doubt she’s really a "victim" of the curse - whenever someone is thought to be “in league” with the strange creatures or has “joined forces” with them, it’s usually because they have to do something necessary and good that’s not obvious to everyone else right now. Especially if they’re on the cover with their backs to the action.
