I don't have to look at hte story to know two things: the story is about the brunette, and she's happy at the end with someone else who was better for her. The story's never about the happy redhead who eases out an inferior rival and makes a man much, much happier. Oh, there wasn't anything wrong with her, but she was such a mope at times. Not like Ginger here. Ginger's always fun. And she doesn't hide or spy or weep.

Alternate story: he strangled one, left her the bushes, and he's celebrating with the girl who helped him plot the crime. Let's prop her up and make her watch!
