The first issue of Gold and Silver promises a welcome break from all those enormous polished gemstones, but I'm sure we'll tired of these two concepts as well. The fish and the expelled-breath-bubbles indicate a degree of dreamlike surrealism the other volumes lack; perhaps this series ends with Richie waking in a cold tenement, realizing his entire life as an impossibly wealthy child was only a dream.
