The shopping center up the block from my childhood home. It had everything: a SuperValu, a knick-knack store (Carousel Jeweler), Johnson Drugs in case you needed drugs for your Johnson, Ben Franklin with turtles and parakeets in the back. It was where you went to get a suit at Northport Clothiers. It had Three Sisters for women's clothes.

It changed over the years, of course - but I was stunned to see on the internet that it had closed. The whole thing? Not possible.
