The old American Life and Casuistry Building, or something like that. Classic post-war architecture – colored panels in popular hues, brick sides, black marble for that go-away-son-you-bother-me look on the ground floor, and a nifty angled overhang for the entrance. Looking at it now, I wonder if they ran a torture chamber on the second floor.
Note the old house in the background: the future never arrives entirely intact. |
