She was the wife of Wallace Reid, as you may expect. Her real name was Dorothy Davenport, and she acted in 140 movies, as well as writing for radio and movies, and producing films. She directed five movies, of which this was the last, in 1934. It's not very good. The plot defies comprehension, and while I'm sure there's a story in there somewhere, the absolutely leaden pace of everything makes the modern viewer give up within ten minutes or so.
But it has this guy: he appeared in over 200 movies, mostly uncredited.
