@grebmar and ExGeeEye: Actually in french it’s “pommes de terre frites” which means fried apples of the earth which is what they call potatoes. “Pommes frites” is an abbreviation of sorts that means fried apples, but who does that?
I sometimes get fried apples at Cracker Barrel. Yummy.
Interesting how the pseudo tilt shift makes the buildings look like models.
