Sony wasn't a slouch at the design game, either. The squarish shape had a certain style and logic.

But oh, those clocks. I loved that design. It might be the most emblematic clock of its time, but we didn't know it then. Memphis-influenced, somehow, with the obligatory primary colors. I had one. I gave it away. I do not forgive myself for this.
