#4 is made of “All Wool Zibeline.” That’s not a made-up tradename conjured by bored MadAv boys; it’s actually a name for “a thick, soft fabric with a long nap.” You don’t see it used in catalogs much anymore. Perhaps in 1961 the average consumer of these catalogs knew all these terms, and prided themselves on their ability to distinguish one from the other. Oh Zibeline is nice, but it’s Worumbo for me.
