The back page has one of the only logos in the book that's still in use today. Lawry's! It opened in 1938, and as we learned several pages ago, the Van De Kamps of fish-fame were involved. They still are: Van De Kamps still work at the restaurant.

The "Silver Cart" is wheeled to yur table, and the meat carved right before your eyes!

The last six Lawry's were opened in Singapore, Tokyo, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Osaka. The logo's the same for the restaurants, and the hallowed seasoned salt. I first tasted this in Fargo as a kid, and brother, this was something else. This was salt plus. I don't think I've been without a shaker of this stuff my entire adult life.

It's like a little piece of LA '62 in your cupboard.
