Mr. M and Mr. M roamed the pages of the newspapers in the late 30s, constantly finding comparisons with the fine value of M & M blended whiskey. One of them would always say “good things are expensive,” and the other would point out that the whiskey they were apparently selling, and hence would be expected to have knowledge of, was a fine-quality product that wasn’t expensive.

The lesson never sunk in, and was repeated often, without noticeable comic effects. You can only assume they took place during alcoholic blackouts.

Note that they don't really seem to have faces.

Never had a whiskey described as "mouth-watering."
